Wow, this is great news. I am not in the market but I sure wish I was.

The keyboard is the deal-killer for me. I messed with one at a store, and there is no way I'm going to suffer with typing on something that small. A keyboard the size of a Dell 700m really is the smallest I can go and still make good use of it. But having said that, ASUS has definitely got a winner from an overall "concept" perspective, and it will work just fine for people with small hands/fingers. On top of that, I gotta love anyone who is manufacturing a popular Linux device.

I have been told by several Verizon reps in the last couple of weeks that they are working on the Treo 755. Went into a store this evening (Nov 1) and was told Verizon rejected it again within the last week or two and release date remains open.
