Blackberry maker Research in Motion is showing no signs of slowing down.
Shares of RIM were up $2.08, or 1.5%, to $141.69, breaching the 52-week high of $139.97. The stock has zoomed 113% over the last year, and in the last three months alone, it has shot up 76%.

As such our expectations of what a data centric smartphone should be like are probably lame. T-Mobile is due to carry the new BlackBerry 8800 early in 2007. Its said to be Wi-Fi and camera equipped. Size wise... compared side by side to an 8700 model, it is approximately 2/3 the width depth of an 8700 and approx 1/4+/- inches longer.
