The LifeDrive design utilizes a 4GB microdrive instead of any flash memory. Namely, a 64MB partition of the microdrive is used as the program and data storage space. While this retains the advantage of non-volatile program & data storage, this introduces a slight lag occasionally during normal use, as the microdrive is spun up & down frequently to conserve power. Now, we know that it looks similar to its silver brother externally, but it comes with a software update named MOL2. Using a cellular phone does not increase a person's risk of cancer, according to a broad study released on Tuesday involving more than 400,000 Danish cellular telephone users.
A team of researchers used data on the entire population of Denmark to determine that neither short- nor long-term use of cellular phones, also called mobile phones, was linked to a greater risk of tumors of the brain and nervous system, salivary gland or eyes, leukemia or cancer overall.

A Microsoft blogger writes... I've never used a Blackberry and I suspect most Microsoft Employees never have. As such our expectations of what a data centric smartphone should be like are probably lame. For example there are two features that the Blackberry has that are just killer features and I would have never expected from our own platform for a variety of reasons.
