Well looks like the Microsoft Zune got off on a rough start. I personally was hoping it would be a good alternative for the iPod. Buggy desktop software, crippled buttons, and just doesn't look too great.

The Sony Ericsson Z525a isn't a new device, so to speak, but a device that's being recognized more, as it's free from Letstalk.com and only 19.99 through Cingular (with a 2 year contract). I own the phone, and aside from getting a lemon which is Cingular's fault, love it. The phone is really well thought out, and has great features, at a really low cost. It doesn't have wifi, or an SD slot, but it has the basic needs. CNET reviewed it, and gave it a 7.0 out of 10, you can check out their review here
