XYZ Computing writes The ultraportable "X" line is composed of laptops with a 12" display, Intel mobile processor (a low voltage model in some cases), and very low weight. The current generation product is the X60, which comes in two varieties, the standard X60, which uses a Core 2 Duo processor, and the X60s, which moves to a Core Duo low voltage processor and shaves off a few ounces. Up until recently the X60 line did not have a tablet and Thinkpad fans were stuck using their X41 Tablet (X41t), which was powered by a low voltage Pentium M processor. While this is still a very solid system it does not have the upgrades found in the move to the X60 or the Core Duo processor. read more »

I personaly have not tried it yet and the software is in its early stages of development. It's nice to know people are developing free software specifically for the LifeDrive. read more »

Brain Murmurs writes We’ve created a great product that allows BlackBerry users to use their BlackBerry as a Bluetooth modem for their laptops, but for many of them the speed is much slower than it should be.

The blog goes on and raises the suspicion that RIM is crippling the BB's use of a modem over bluetooth through OS upgrades. Their test results are quite dramatic. read more »
